An Italian man identified by his initials, LS, was deported from Indonesia after engaging in an explicit act in public view. The event transpired in the Seminyak area, which prompted the Bali authorities to take swift action.
According to Sugito, Head of Ngurah Rai Immigration Office, LS was deported in compliance with a police recommendation.
“LS is the perpetrator of indecent acts committed in front of a resident’s house in the Seminyak area, the video of which had gone viral on social media,” he told local reporters yesterday.
Apart from the deportation, LS’s name has also been added to the immigration blacklist, barring his re-entry into Indonesia. However, specific details regarding the duration of this prohibition were not disclosed by Sugito.
LS arrived at the I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport on Sept. 4 with a Visa on Arrival (VoA) that was valid until Oct. 3.
The incident leading to his deportation took place on Sept. 9, when he and an unidentified female companion engaged in inappropriate behavior in front of a resident’s house.
Upon the homeowner’s discovery of the incident, LS and the woman were promptly chased away. A subsequent review of CCTV footage confirmed the lewd conduct, ultimately leading to LS’s identification and subsequent arrest by local authorities.
The woman involved in the incident, likely a local, remains at large and is actively being sought by the police.
