Indonesian actress Tamara Bleszynski goes to police over harassment in Canggu

Indonesian celebrity Tamara Bleszynski has captured the attention of netizens around Bali after posting to Instagram a picture of herself on Thursday evening in the North Kuta Police office.

Adding to the growing list of women coming forward to report such disturbing attack cases in the Canggu area, the 41-year-old actress/singer/model says she was threatened and harassed in Echo Beach.

The case is currently be investigated by police.

“Yes, a statement from the victim was made around 8 pm. And we have already received the report,” North Kuta Police Chief I Wayan Artha Ariawan told Tribun Bali. The details of the attack aren’t very clear at this time, but Ariawan explained that Bleszynki alleges she had her hair grabbed while on a motorbike.

Bleszynski’s Instagram post shows her sitting in the police office and explains that she was making a report from when she and one of her children were at Echo Beach.

“Be careful when going to Echo Beach,” Bleszynski warned in her status. “Hopefully Bali can go back to being safe and the law can be enforced,” she added.
