Indian man arrested with meth at Bali airport denies knowing about the drugs, says he was carrying stuff for someone else

An Indian national arrested at Ngurah Rai International Airport on Saturday reportedly says he had no knowledge of the 1.5 kilograms of meth that airport customs pulled out of his bag.

Muhammed Said Sayed was taken to Bali Police today for further investigation, reports Tribun Bali

In his initial interrogation, Sayed said he did not know that there was meth in the bag that a person in Bangkok entrusted him to bring to Bali, reports Tribun.

A police officer further told Tribun that they do not immediately believe the information Sayed is laying down.

Sayed was reportedly checked out by customs officers when he touched down in Bali after an AirAsia flight from Bangkok on Saturday because he apparently looked “suspicious.”
