Local residents of Pekraman Bunutan Kedewatan, Gianyar, Bali admitted to issuing a harsh warning to a management of a hotel development project this morning.
What has these residents so ticked is that the building construction is just south of a temple, Pura Dalem Tenggaling Bunutan, reports Tribun Bali.
Though the paruman, local counsel must have agreed to the hotel project, the public is reportedly not on board with the soon-to-come multistory buildings, 100 meters in radius, in the sacred area of this temple.
The project has not been socialized and residents reject this construction, said I Made Aridiana, a resident representative.
