Bali was the site of a Honda’s MotoGP special event this past weekend that brought in some major racing stars.
On the island, Honda launched its 2015 MotoGP bike that featured big names in racing like world champion Marc Marquez and teammate Dani Pedrosa, according to autosport.com.
We’ll be seeing that orange, red, and white color combo again, as Repsol remains the title backer for the 20th year.
The 2015 beauty of a bike has reportedly been testing since last summer.
“It’s been a long and busy winter break and now I’m really looking forward to starting the season,” said Marquez, as quoted by Autosport.
“It’s great to be able to present our new bikes in Indonesia, it’s such a beautiful backdrop.”
As a nation of motorbike riders, it makes sense there are a lot of people nuts for MotoGP here, which Marquez certainly noticed.
“It’s my first time here in Bali and it’s wonderful to see all the fans here and feel their enthusiasm for MotoGP.”
They even got the barong in the picture. So Bali.
Yup, fans were excited to Tweet and Retweet the racers’ pics.
Even the security was excited
“Tomorrow we leave for Malaysia, I’ve trained a lot during last month to prepare myself for these first two tests in Sepang and I’m excited to be with my crew again and see how the new bike is working after Valencia test.”
