Bali’s governor has enumerated the top 10 priority areas for development and we’re sure it must have been difficult to rank some above others since there’s room for improvement in a lot of these areas.
Governor Made Mangku Pastika reportedly listed these out on Monday during a plenary session on accountability reports in front of the island’s legislators.
Here they are, as published by Tribun Bali:
- poverty reduction
- unemployment reduction
- education
- health
- culture, tourism, and the creative economy
- agriculture and food security
- investment, small industry, cooperatives, and SME
- bureaucratic reform and governance (read tackling corruption)
- environment and spatial and disaster management
- order and security
These priorities will no doubt have a say in how Bali’s provincial budget is allocated.
