Headless unidentified corpse found floating in North Bali

The body of an unidentified person was found after it floated up to Labuan Aji Beach, Buleleng, North Bali. Without its head.

The headless corpse was discovered on Thursday around 6 pm by a search team that had been looking for missing person Putu Bayu Prasetya aka Putu Douglas on Banyuasri River, Singaraja, according to Tribun Bali

Douglas was a guide that reportedly drowned in a waterfall in Sambangan Village while trying to help tourists on April 11. When his corpse had yet to be recovered, the search team turned to Labuan Aji Beach to try and find it.

The headless male corpse has still not been identified in reports, so we cannot be sure that it’s Douglas. The body was floating just two meters from the beach and only the bones of the left arm, femur, spine, and waist were intact, reports Tribun.

The body was reportedly taken to the morgue in Buleleng Public Hospital for post-mortem examination and arrived there around 8 pm last night.
