Harley-Davidson chooses Bali to host inaugural Asia Pacific convention

Motorbike fanatics who are already counting down to the next drag bike race in Bali (most recent one took place last weekend) can now look forward to another event—a Harley-Davidson convention.

Harley-Davidson announced yesterday that Bali has been selected as the host of the Harley Owners Group Convention (H.O.G) for the Asia Pacific region. This four-day event, planned from November 4 to 7 of this year will apparently consist of H.E.A.T (H.O.G. Enthusiasts Adventure Training), social events for Harley-Davidson owners and riders, free entertainment, and of course, promotional displays of Harley-Davidson’s newest babies.

According to Martin Engelbrecht, Regional Customer Experience Manager for Harley-Davidson Asia Pacific, this is the first time that an H.O.G convention will be held in Asia Pacific. Bali has been chosen due to our “strategic location, prime building infrastructure, and a range of entertainment choices to suit all ages”.

One thing for sure, it’s going to be a loud weekend in Bali when the Harley-Davidsoners come to the island.
