Grisly rice paddy murder vicitm’s wife allegedly ordered a hit on him, sources report she confessed

Murder victim Robert Kelvin Ellis and suspected wife Noor Ellis lived in a Sanur villa together.

Developments for the mysterious and grisly murder involving the British man found dead this morning are moving quickly.

The wife of Robert Kelvin Ellis has allegedly confessed to ordering a hit on her husband, who was found dead in a horrific state Tuesday morning.

Police have reportedly declared Ellis’ Indonesian wife, Julaikah Noor Aini (known as Noor Ellis) a suspect in his murder. She allegedly had multiple motives for paying to have her husband murdered, one of which was a claim that he repeatedly cheated on her.

One of his murderers has been arrested, but the search for three more involved in Ellis’ killing is ongoing say police.

Ellis’ death has drawn international attention with the gruesome state he was found in. His body was discovered in a Badung paddy ditch wrapped in a sheet with his hands and feet bound and fatal slashes to the throat.

Ellis, 60, was a British national who reportedly lived in Australia for some time, before moving to Bali. Sources say he lived with his wife in their Sanur villa for more than 10 years.

Badung police chief Komang Suartana said for the record, “We have appointed his wife as a suspect. We have also caught one of the killers and we are still pursuing three others.”
