Ubud’s known for its peaceful spiritual vibes, but it also has a contradictory reputation for its sucky traffic.
The regent of Gianyar, Anak Agung Bharata says he expects Bali Police Chief Ronny F. Sompie to jump on it and solve Ubud’s traffic problem.
Bharata directly delivered this demand to the Bali police chief during his visit to Gianyar Police on Tuesday, according to Tribun Bali.
The regency of Gianyar is apparently already cooperating with the brains in Bandung, from the Institute of Technology Bandung (ITB) to try and kick Ubud’s traffic congestion.
Sompie says he’s on it and will work with Bali Police to overcome this very challenging issue and a review of how to manage traffic differently needs to be done for the area.
