A negative antigen rapid test result is now all it takes for you to fly domestically into Bali if you’ve received two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, an official from Ngurah Rai International Airport confirmed today.
“Travelers passing through Ngurah Rai Airport can use a negative antigen rapid test result taken one day before their departure [if] they are already fully vaccinated,” Taufan Yudhistira, a spokesman from airport management firm PT Angkasa Pura I, said.
Previously, all domestic air travelers were required to present a negative result from a PCR swab test and had to have been vaccinated at least once to enter Bali. This requirement remains unchanged if you are traveling from other Indonesian islands besides Java, but those coming from Java now have the alternative option of antigen rapid tests if they are fully vaxxed. These requirements are applicable until further notice.

Taufan’s statement seems to have also cleared up an earlier announcement made by the Bali Provincial Government, who on Aug. 10 said that all travelers entering Bali must still adhere to the PCR tests requirement.
