Forensics reveals infant corpse dumped in Denpasar trash had been aborted

A forensics examination of an infant corpse found in a Denpasar dumpster reveals that it had been aborted.

The body, which had originally been mistaken for a dead puppy, was reportedly found yesterday morning in a pile of rubbish on Jl. Tukad Badung, Pemogan, Denpasar.

Denpasar’s Sanglah Hospital forensics team says evidence shows the baby was aborted before the mother could give birth, according to Tribun Bali

“The infant is 31 centimeters long, meaning the age in the womb is about six months. So this is a case of abortion,” head of forensics at Sanglah, Dr. Dudut Rustyadi, told Tribun Bali.

He added that the sex of the baby could not be determined since some tissue was missing from the corpse. Disturbing.
