The first viral clip of a bule acting stupid on the Island of Gods surfaced over the weekend. A white woman, whose identity is still unknown, was seen gyrating on her motorbike while driving without wearing a helmet yesterday on the Denpasar-Gilimanuk Road in Mendoyo.
She seemed nonchalant and kept on vibing while holding back the car behind har, who was not able to overtake her on the narrow road.
Netizens lambasted the motorist over her reckless and downright dangerous driving. Some pointed out that locals also often drive without helmets, as if two wrongs make a right.
In 2022, Denpasar recorded 767 traffic accidents that resulted in 1,136 people suffering minor injuries, 24 suffering severe injuries, and 75 deaths.
