A shocking video capturing the audacious act of two foreign nationals drinking alcohol while riding a motorcycle on Bali’s Sunset Road in Kuta recently has taken social media by storm.
The footage depicts a pair of foreigners, seemingly carefree, cruising on a motorcycle while waiting at a traffic light. The female passenger, perched on the pillion seat, hands a bottle of liquor to her male friend, who takes a swig before passing it back to her.
This reckless and potentially perilous display by the inebriated foreign duo has drawn immense criticism.
Bali Police’s spokesman Stefanus Satake Bayu Setianto has confirmed that an intensive search and verification process is currently underway to identify the individuals involved.
“We are diligently searching for these foreign nationals, and we are cross-checking the license plate details for accuracy,” Bayu stated.
Law enforcement authorities are determined to take decisive action against the foreign couple, as consuming alcohol in the midst of public roads is an unacceptable offense.
“This behavior is utterly unacceptable, and our officers are tirelessly pursuing the whereabouts of these foreign nationals,” he asserted.
