A 19 year old was found dead after she allegedly hanged herself on Friday evening in her Denpasar home.
Her story was apparently one of star-crossed love—her family disapproved of her 20-year-old boyfriend and she turned out to be pregnant to top it all off.
“The victim was two months pregnant. Her relationship with her boyfriend was not approved for religious reasons. In fact, the victim’s mother suggested an abortion,” one unnamed witness told Radar Bali.
The boyfriend reportedly found his girlfriend at her house on Jl. Hayam Wuruk, hanging by her own scarf.
