Five star hotels face allegations for violating regulations during construction in Nusa Dua, Bali

The Hotel Kempinski and Ritz Carlton in Sawangan, Nusa Dua are facing allegations that their construction is not in line with local regulations.

Member of Commission III of the regional council (DPRD Bali), Nyoman Suyasa is urging relevant agencies to review the construction of these two hotels in Sawangan for alleged violations and their clifftop construction projects, reports Antara

“I urge the district government and provincial government of Bali to conduct a review at the location of these development projects for these two  five star hotels that are allegedly breaking the rules,” he said on Monday, as quoted by Antara.

Suyasa insists that if these hotels are found breaking any rules, authorities must act swiftly and firmly.

Antara’s report did not fully go into details of what these allegations of rule-breaking are, but the stakes must be high with two such elite hotels involved.
