First Indonesian to travel around the world on motorcycle reaches Bali for home stretch

Indonesian man Jeffrey Polnaja, 53, has been riding around the world on his motorcycle since 2006.

His “ride for peace” is dedicated to world wide peace and he has just reached Bali this week as reportedly the first Indonesian to ever travel around the world on a motorcycle.

According to his website, he first started his journey from Jakarta in April 2006 and has ever since explored Asia, North Africa, Europe, North America, Central America, South America, and Australia. That’s a lot of petrol for sure.

After Bali, Polnaja will reportedly make his way to Timor Leste, his final stop on his nine year journey.

Polnaja has driven his BMW R 1150 GS through 97 countries, for a distance of more than 420,000 kilometers, according to Metro News
