UPDATE Welding sparks cause of Uluwatu blaze: Fire Department
A smoking fire broke out in Bali’s Uluwatu area on Monday afternoon.
Photos and videos of the flames and smoke have been quickly circulating on social media.
The fire is understood to have originated somewhere near Ulu Cliff and spread to Bluepoint in Labuansait in Bali’s Bukit Peninsula just up from the island’s famous Uluwatu surf break.
Trucks of firefighters have been seen rushing to the scene to put the flames out.
