Bali is teeming with some serious superhero energy this week, with fans on the island enthusiastically greeting actors Chris Hemsworth and Tom Holland at an event in Denpasar.

Holland, the actor behind Spider-Man, and Hemsworth, who is best known as the mighty Thor, were both recently on the island of the Gods promoting their respective upcoming movies – Spider-Man: Far From Home and Men In Black: International – much to the delight of their Indonesian fans, some of whom documented their encounters with the actors on social media as soon as they arrived in Bali.

Holland himself took to Instagram to share a moment with his Indonesian fans during the meet and greet.

“Last night was awesome. Bali so far has been incredible and we are all so grateful for your warm welcome. Can’t wait to explore some more,” the caption reads.

Meanwhile, a video of Hemsworth speaking in Indonesian has made its rounds on the Internet, capturing the Australian actor saying things such as “mantul” to “bagus sekali” – both of which can be translated as “awesome” – and even counting to 10 in the language  (Hemsworth is clearly proud of the Bahasa Indonesia he learned while in school).

While this seems to be Holland’s first visit to Indonesia, it isn’t the case for Hemsworth, who reportedly have been to the archipelago on several occasions.

In fact, according to a report from Viva, Hemsworth’s wedding with his wife Elsa Pataky took place in Sumba, East Nusa Tenggara.

“I like this place. I like Indonesians, and [the country] is easy to reach from Australia. The food here is great, it’s amazing,” Hemsworth said, as quoted by Viva.
