A man is now in police custody after trying to smuggle drugs into a Denpasar, Bali jail on Monday night.
The 24-year-old man, identified by his initials TED, reportedly tried to hide the meth in a shampoo bottle as a favor to his brother.
“He tried to fool officers by putting drugs in a shampoo bottle,” but meth just doesn’t have the same consistency as powdered shampoo, so he was caught red-handed, Denpasar Police Chief Djoko Hari Utomo told Tribun Bali.
TED wasn’t exactly the most creative smuggler. He is apparently the third person who has tried to bring drugs into the jail by concealing them in a shampoo bottle.
