Just because one woman seemingly got dumped by her husband doesn’t mean she can’t enjoy their trip to Bali together… with a different travel companion.
A Queensland woman has started an online auction for a new travel companion to take her husband’s spot on their already booked luxury getaway to Bali.
Her eBay ad titled “Bali Trip Feb 2015 – Husband walked out, Now its my shout!” asks potential bidders, “Looking for adventure with someone spontaneous?”
Sarah-Jane Bell, 24, has already received 49 bids on the trip as of writing with the current bid at AUD4,400 for the eight-night trip from February 3 to 11.

That’s right! Im offering return accommodation flying Virgin Australia and 8 nights accommodation in Kuta, Bali, all up for grabs in the one listing. Whats the catch you ask? There is none, other then spending just over a week in Bali with a complete stranger, being myself! Im in need of an awesome travel partner who wants to experience it all!
Take note, Bell says bidding is only open to people between the 18 to 32 age bracket. Bidding is open to both males and females. She writes:
Please be mindful that this is not a holiday to get sexed up in any way, shape or form. This is purely platonic. Yes I may be single, however there is no guarantee that anything will come from this trip.
Well, are you up for the challenge to travel from Brisbane to Bali with this lively gal? Appropriately, she does say on the auction page that her favorite saying is “Surprise me.” You can expect “many MANY pub crawls” with Bell if replacing her husband on this Bali trip. Bidding closes on Friday, according to her eBay post.
