Drowning victim’s body recovered in West Bali

The body of a man who drowned when swept away by the current on Thursday in Jembrana, Bali was later found on Friday. 

I Ketut Suyasa, 55, first found I Nyoman Sarta, 55, about 100 meters from the beach in Pekutan Village earlier this morning around 8:15 am, reports Tribun Bali

Jembrana Police investigator I Gusti Made Sudharma confirmed the corpse’s discovery and said the body was found not far from where the man was known to have drowned. 

Sudharma added that the body was still wearing a black shirt and shorts when it was found and has already been sent to the mortuary to prepare for burial.
