Dirty laundry aired from Robert Ellis murder: Not enough sex and money

The disturbing contents of her 13 page indictment made alleged murderer Julaikah Noor Aini aka Noor Ellis, break down in court.

The Indonesian women is accused of ordering a hit on her husband of more than 20 years, Robert Ellis. His body was found dumped in a Bali rice field with the throat slit in October 2014. 

In Denpasar District Court, prosecutor Gde Raka Arimbawa read the indictment, saying Noor Ellis had “deliberately and with prior planning taken someone else’s life,” as quoted by news.com.AU.

Prosecutors chock up Noor Ellis’ alleged murderous actions to unhappiness in her marriage. The couple had been in on several ventures together including a hotel complex, a dive business, and a telecommunications company,” reports the Sydney Morning Herald

“The victim liked to play around with women and behaved badly so that quarrels happened a lot, with various causes and reasons, especially when it came to financial problems,” prosecutor Made Dipa Umbara said. 

The indictment accuses Noor Ellis of paying IDR150 million to “solve her problems” with her husband, who she claimed deprived her financially and sexually. 

It will be the defense’s turn to make its case next week.
