Bali’s governor Made Mangku Pastika is poised to inaugurate a new diesel power plant today.
The 200 MW plant will be on the second floor of PT Indonesia Power, Denpasar, reports Tribun Bali.
The launching of this plant is yet another move to try and get Bali more self-sufficient with power supply.
The inauguration ceremony today will be attended by government representatives of Denpasar, a number of Denpasar legislators, the directors of PT Indonesia Power, and the general manager of PT PLN (Persero) Bali Distribution, Doddy B Pangaribuan, reports Tribun Bali.
