While Indonesia is known for its draconian anti-pornography laws (not even celebrities can get away once their sex tapes are leaked), it has not stopped some people from having fun in public despite the risks of getting caught.

A young couple was caught on camera getting down to business at a public park in Denpasar on Monday evening. Their actions were recorded by a CCTV camera nearby, and two clips of the incident reportedly went viral on social media yesterday.

In the videos, the man was wearing a jacket while the woman donned a dress. The couple wore facial masks and thus concealed their identities at first.

However, the woman then lowered her mask to her chin, which exposed her identity. Outraged Indonesian netizens attacked her alleged Twitter account, which has been set to private as of this article’s publication.

Police in Bali say they’re investigating the case but have yet to question the couple. Under Indonesian law, acts of public indecency are punishable by up to two years and eight months in prison.

While the Island is chiefly home to Balinese Hindus, Indonesia is the largest Muslim-majority country in the world. The country’s ambiguous pornography laws have led to the jailing of people over adult content and leaked sex tapes, including celebrities.

Despite this, some Indonesians still break the law, with a number of content makers active on adult platforms such as OnlyFans, a content subscription service popular among sex workers.
