Denpasar students shot with airsoft guns, stabbed with spears, by hooded attackers, CCTV footage not available

Police are struggling to uncover the masked group of perpetrators who stabbed and shot at three junior high school students, wounding them, at an Alfamart in Kerobokan Kaja.

About ten people with their faces covered, carrying spears and airsoft guns, reportedly went at the three students on Wednesday night.

The injured victims have been identified in reports as Putu Krisna Adinata, 13, Putu Ngurah Bagus Ramawijaya, 15, and Komang Adi, 15.

The three students were rushed to Sanglah Hospital following the attack and have been hospitalized since.

North Kuta Police Chief Commissioner Heri Supriawan says police are deepening their investigation, but it won’t be from the help of CCTV footage. Unfortunately the incident was not in range of Alfarmart’s security cameras.

“We are asking for more information from witnesses present at the time of the incident. Among them include two victims, a nasi jinggo seller, and one Alfamart employee,” Supriawan told Tribun Bali on Thursday.
