The two candidates running in the election for mayor of Denpasar are reportedly going through medical tests today.
I Ketut Suwandhi and I Made Arjaya (SUAR) are being tested by a group of doctors in Wangaya Public Hospital in Denpasar on Thursday morning, reports Tribun Bali.
“The process is about two to three hours. It will be handled by seven doctors under the IDI (Indonesian Medical Association) in collaboration with Wangaya Hospital in Denpasar,” the hospital’s director, Dr. Setiawati Hartawan told Tribun.
Among the team of doctors are specialists in internal medicine, ENT, mental illness, radiology, optometry, and neurology, as well as lab physicians.
Results of the medical tests will be submitted to the Denpasar Election Commission as one of the prerequisites to assume the position as the leader of the Denpasar city government.
