The death of an experienced British surfing instructor is being mourned after 21-year-old Cameron Munro passed during an accident while on holiday in Bali.

The Algarve Surf School & Camp, where Munro worked in Portugal, posted a touching tribute to their Facebook page, writing that “he is going to be a hole missing in our surf camp family.”

While the Brighton, UK Pure Spirit Surf School wrote another heart-wrenching status dedicated to Munro: “You touched people all over the world with your mellow soul, I will love you and miss you forever.”

Details of Munro’s death on Saturday have been practically nonexistent in international reports, other than the Guardian reporting that he drowned—a postmortem is apparently being waited on to better understand the full circumstances of his death.

The British Foreign Office has said it was providing support to the family of a British national who passed on March 19, which is understood to be Munro’s family.
