Lindsay Sandiford, the British grandmother locked up in Keobokan Prison on death row, has made it to 60 years old.
Last year, when she turned 59, many wondered if she was celebrating her last birthday with her looming execution. Now people are asking the same question this year, after she celebrated her 60th inside Kerobokan last month, on June 25.
A post to her supporters’ Facebook page, Justice and Fairness for Lindsay Sandiford, reads that the woman enjoyed some pizza, a blueberry cheesecake, and soft drinks with friends.
Sandiford was jailed back in 2012 for carrying GBP1.6 million worth of drugs from Thailand to Bali. She has previously stated that she was coerced into carrying the drugs because her family was threatened.
While she wasn’t executed last year alongside the Bali Nine, Sandiford could be in the next execution group, which Indoneisan officials previously stated would take place after Idul Fitri.
