Over $70,000 has been raised to medevac a 3-year-old girl back home to Australia after a swimming pool accident at a villa in Bali on Sunday morning left her in a coma.

The money has been raised through crowdfunding site GoFundMe in a desperate attempt to get Sydney girl Kawa over to Perth.

Kawa was pulled from the pool unconscious during a holiday in Bali with her parents. The latest updates on the GoFundMe page, Get Kawa Home, say she is stable though still comatose.

“She had basically drowned… when they pulled her out of the pool, she was unconscious,” the girl’s aunt, Christine Walsh, told Australia’s 9 News.

“There happened to be a surgeon nearby, and he and another doctor did CPR on her for 45 minutes, and her heart re-started.”

It’s not totally clear whether or not the family was insured, but Perth Now reports that there was a “travel insurance issue,” and that’s why family friend Pearl Tan launched a GoFundMe page. The page asked for $42,000 to get Kawa on a charter plane to fly her to Perth as soon as possible—since Perth is closer than her home in Sydney.

After they had met their goal of $42,000, the page plead for an additional $18,000 to help with medical costs—an amount that they have now surpassed by $10,000 from sympathetic donors.

An update to the GoFundMe profile thanked donors for their support and showed a picture of Kawa in the hospital, hooked up to a ventilator.

It’s understood that Kawa and her father will be making the flight from Bali to Perth tonight.
