Condoms, cell phones, and chocolates were some of the more interesting items that turned up during a sweep of a Bali prison on Wednesday.
Police came around 6am while prisoners were still asleep to scour every nook and cranny at Karangasem Prison in East Bali.
It was drugs and weapons that police were on the hunt for, in particular, said Karangasem Police Superintendent Sugeng Sudarso.
In addition to the more innocuous items (like the candy), shivs, lighters, and cigarettes were found, but drugs were nowhere to be found on Wednesday, Karangasem Police told reporters.
Other items uncovered included scissors, power banks, phone chargers and dominoes.
Partnering with prison security guards, as many as 108 police officers joined in sweep.
There was no resistance from prisoners, so the raid went smoothly, police said.
