Out of the people deported from Bali in the past year for immigration offenses out of northern city Singaraja, the most came from China.
This isn’t necessarily to say anything about Chinese people—it could likely be that the odds are in their favor since they dominate Bali’s tourism numbers.
In 2015, Immigration Office Class II Singaraja, Bali deported 22 foreigners.
“Over the last year, we deported 22 people for all kinds of offenses, some for overstaying and for other immigration issues,” Head of Immigration Office Class II Muhammad Hanif Rozariyanto said on Tuesday to Tribun Bali.
Most of this number was from China, Rozariyanto told Tribun.
