A teen in East Bali says he was suddenly shocked when one of his chicks hatched on Friday.
Komang Yoga Laksmana Putra, 15, of Lokasari Village, Karangasem, couldn’t believe it when he saw his chick had four legs, reports Tribun Bali.
“At first I was surprised because this is the first time I saw a chick like this. It looks like the chick is born with a disability, but this chick is really so very unique,” Putra told Tribun Bali.
Because of its condition, the chick apparently has a hard time walking and is always abandoned by its mother. (Tearing up).
“The chick is still alive. But it has difficulty eating something. Every time it tries to stand up, it always falls down,” Putra said.
And unlike this Balinese farmer who freaked out when his piglet was born with two heads, Putra seems to be embracing this oddity of nature and says he hopes the chick will survive to adulthood.
