Smile, you’re on candid camera.
Don’t be too quick to the blame the “underprivileged locals” next time your bag gets stolen. CCTV footage is quickly circulating around social media of what appears to be a bule man and his friend stealing a bag from a group of Asian people at a Kuta, Bali cafe.
According to the man that seems to be one of the first or original posters of the video, the footage is from Cafe Sardinia at Kuta Beachwalk next to Starbucks.
Watch the video and in the blink of an eye, you’ll see the man in the white t-shirt grab the bag from the chair of the large group of people and hand it over to his accomplice. We had to watch it several times because it happens so fast.
This video is just another reminder to keep your wits about you, no matter the place. You never know when you happen to be sitting next to a pair of bag-snatchers!
