The Sunset Road-Jl. Dewi Sri intersection in Kuta jammed up on Monday night after a serious accident.
A Daihatsu Xenia reportedly hit three motorbikes and the victims were apparently injured, but Tribun Bali’s report on the accident did not go into great detail on the injuries.
The crash victims were taken by ambulance to Siloam Hospital, according to a witness at the scene, identified by Tribun Bali as Nyoman Janu, 45.
“People are saying that the car drive was intoxicated. The car collided with motorbikes and crashed into three motorbikes stopped at a red light,” Janu explained.
Another eyewitness to the accident, Rajib, 40, says the accident occurred very suddenly. He says he saw a black car speeding down the road from Kerobokan and arriving at the five lane intersection, it crashed into some motorbikes.
