Comments from a Kuta cafe manager seem to authenticate the viral video released yesterday (02/16/2015) showing what appears to be a couple of bule men stealing from a group of Asians at a restaurant.
According to Tribun Bali, Sardinia Cafe manager of Kuta Beachwalk Oka Wiratama confirmed to the newspaper the contents of the video, but was tight-lipped about everything else.
“It is true, a customer reported to us a lost bag in that place,” Wiratama told Tribun Bali. However, Tribun reports that the manager refused to specifically comment on the footage. “We dare not comment. That’s all the information we’re providing,” he said.
Watch the video carefully and don’t blink, because the action happens so fast. The man in the white t-shirt quickly grabs the bag off the chair of an unsuspecting man (in the large group) and then hands the bag to his accomplice. Right at the beginning.
