A foreigner’s body was reportedly pulled out from the ocean at Blue Point, Uluwatu on Saturday.
“When found, the body was still floating in the ocean. Residents and lifeguards immediately evacuated it to higher ground,” Wayan Sudana told Tribun Bali. Sudana was a lifeguard on duty at the time of the body’s discovery.
Sudana says he did not know anything about the victim’s idenity, name or country, or anything else for that matter.
From Uluwatu, the body was rushed to Sanglah Hospital forensics.
Officers told Tribun that there was bruising on the victim’s face and the body was found shirtless, wearing swim trunks. Results of Sanglah Hospital’s forensics inspections have not been reported yet.
