An enterprising woman in West Bali has been arrested for intentionally engaging in obscene acts for a livelihood aka acting as a pimp.
The woman, Misnati, 48, was arrested by police officers during a concentrated operation in Jembrana, Bali yesterday night, reports Tribun Bali.
Misnati had allegedly just opened up a new coffee shop business service “Esek Esek.” According to Tribun, the woman only had one commercial sex worker who was working at her service for just four days. It would be only IDR50,000 “a play” Misnati told police.
If convicted, Misnati could get a prison sentence of up to one year and four months, reports say. With a penalty like that, guess it’s better to get caught involved in the sex trade over the drug trafficking.
