Concerns from last year of Bali Dog Adoption and Rehabilitation Centre (BARC), one of Bali’s biggest animal charities, being over capacity and needing to close are being alleviated based on the organization’s latest news.
BARC announced on its Facebook page earlier today that it was a proud winner of the Australian company Dick Smith’s charity giveaway.
According to the newsletter from Dick Smith that BARC shared on Facebook, BARC was awarded $10,000 based on customers’ online voting.
The funds are said to go to building Bali’s first dog sanctuary, which will even home monkeys.
