Forensics found signs indicating overdose when examining the body of a young man in Denpasar’s Sanglah Hospital.
But without conducting an autopsy, the morgue says they are unable to confirm whether 23-year-old I Kadek Putradhana died from overdose or not, according to Tribun Bali.
“Actually, (permission) for an autopsy was requested from the family. However, it was rejected by the family,” said head of Sanglah Forensics, Dr. Ida Bagus Putu Alit, explaining why they didn’t go through with an autopsy.
Putradhana, originally from Buleleng, North Bali, was reportedly found dead on Wednesday in West Denpasar.
Blood was found in Putradhana’s mouth during an external examination of his body. He is believed to have died 12 to 24 hours before his body was checked and there were no signs of violence on his corpse.
