Jimbaran’s going to be swarming with really fit people this weekend.
The Bali International Triathlon is expecting 1,200 registered participants on Sunday for the swim, bike, and run race, reports Tribun Bali.
Centered at the expansive beachside Intercontinental Hotel, the race will feature three distances: Olympic Triathlon, Half Triathlon, and a 5 kilometer fun run.
Though the race wasn’t put on last year because the timing coincided with Indonesia’s presidential election, this will be the destination race’s eighth year.
In anticipation of the traffic surge, the Mandara Toll Road will apparently be free on Sunday.
