A teenage boy was arrested in North Bali for breaking and entering into a house in Singaraja and stealing two cell phones and some cash.
Gede EPM, 14, took the phones from the house of Nyoman Gede Cariaka, 48, in broad daylight, reports Tribun Bali. The teen allegedly climbed over the wall of the house and through an open bedroom window.
After snatching the cell phones, the tween was able to grab IDR 350,000 from a purse that was inside a closet, then he retreated the same way he entered the house, Buleleng Police Adnyana TJ told Tribun Bali.
TJ added that the teen claims one phone was used to play the game Angry Birds and the other was used to call his girlfriend.
To the police, the perpetrator revealed that the mobile phone he had stolen was used to play the game Angry Bird.
Because why pause that game of Angry Birds when you have to call your girlfriend?
The teen did not steal the phones to resell them. He used them to play and contact his girlfriend, while the money was used for buying pulsa, Adnyana said. Since that’s so obviously what a 14-year-old would do with his loot.
