A teacher has been reported to the police in Dalung, North Kuta, Bali for the alleged sexual assault of an eight-year-old student.
The victim, accompanied by family, made the report on Monday morning about the 30-year-old teacher, identified by initial “K”.
The alleged assault apparently happened on Nov. 9. After getting picked up from school, the kid expressed wanting to drop out because of the teacher.
Eventually, the eight-year-old told their family of getting touched in the genital area by the sports teacher, reports Tribun Bali.
“Hearing the explanation from the victim, the family then reported (the teacher) to Badung police for further processing,” Tribun Bali quoted an unnamed police source as saying.
