‘Bali Suitcase Murder’ Heather Mack hospitalized after vomiting up blood: Attorney

The ‘Bali Suitcase Murder’ people just can’t seem to avoid the spotlight.

Heather Mack, the young American woman convicted in April 2015 for her mother’s murder in Bali, has been hospitalized due to vomiting blood, according to her attorney.

Michael D. Elkin of Elkin & Associates announced in a press release that Mack vomited blood up on Wednesday morning and was sent to the hospital. While the cause of her internal bleeding is not yet certain, the statement said, “We imagine that the scare shall be nothing more than just a scare.”

The attorney has also said he will request a judge to look into whether Mack’s uncle William Wiese, shirked his duty as successor-trustee of Mack’s trust fund (which totals over $1 million) and “failed to take affirmative steps to provide for the well-being of Heather.”

You know, we’re not saying anything against Wiese, but we can see why Elkin wants to be careful, since there is definitely some bad blood there as it was Wiese’s sister, Sheila von Wiese-Mack, aka Mack’s own mother, that Mack was convicted for the killing of.

Mack was given 10 years as an accomplice in her mother’s August 2014 murder, while her boyfriend and baby daddy Tommy Schaefer was sentenced to 18 years. Their daughter Stella was born in March 2015 and has since been staying in Kerobokan Prison with Mack, where inmates are apparently allowed to keep babies for up to two years.
