Bali Police have arrested one of their own for allegedly trying to sneak meth to a person in police custody.

Serving on police’s Sabhara Unit, the officer, Insp. WS is accused of concealing meth in some shampoo that was to be given to a detainee in custody for drugs and gambling.

Bali Police say they are working on determining whether WS knew about the hidden drugs.

“The officer is still under investigation to ascertain whether he knew about it,” Bali Police spokesman, Superintendent Hengky Widjaja said in Denpasar on Monday, as quoted by Detik.

If police determine WS is guilty, he may be dishonorably discharged and could face criminal penalties.
