In a symbolic F-U, violence-shall-not-stand gesture to Bali’s gangs, Bali Police destroyed a bunch of weapons they had confiscated in a sweep following the clash in and around Kerobokan Prison in Dec. 2015.
The hundreds of hand-crafted arrows, machetes, and spears police had gotten their hands on were destroyed in an event lead by Bali Police Chief Inspector General Sugeng Priyanto, according to Tribun Bali.
Also related yesterday, was a reconstruction of the riots that left four dead. Badung Police had the suspects work with “stunt men” (who stood in for the victims) to reconstruct a series of beatings and deaths from Dec. 17, 2015.
