Bali police arrest motorbike stealing pros

Bali police have arrested two men running a motorbike-stealing operation.

The pair was reportedly arrested in East Java by Badung Police criminal investigators.

“We have arrested two perpetrators in east Java and have confiscated dozens of motorbikes of various types,” Badung Police’s chief, Superintendent Ruddy Setiawan told Tribun Bali on Wednesday.

Police say they secured as many as 29 stolen motorbikes as evidence for the case.

Under Article 363 of the Criminal Code, the pair is apparently facing a max penalty of seven years.
