A Balinese man was tragically killed when he was struck to the ground by some falling trees.
A father of two children, Dewa Ketut Mutrem, died on Tuesday afternoon when he was crossing the main road from Denpasar to Gilimanuk at Tegal Cangkring Village, Jembrana, West Bali, reports Tribun Bali.
When newspaper staff went to investigate the scene of Mutrem’s death this afternoon, there was still fresh blood on the road where the poor man had met his death, according to Tribun.
There was a short, strong wind. The tree immediately toppled over and hit the victim. He died instantly, Dewa Komang Wita, a witness of Mutrem’s death, told Tribun Bali.
