Bali launches ‘mobile’ taxes

Bali’s provincial government has reportedly launched a “mobile” tax service that involves two cars driving around that let you do your taxes with them.

According to I Made Santha head of Bali’s revenue service, the new “breakthrough” is supposed to make it easier for the public to pay taxes, especially for those far from the usual offices where you have to go and file with.

Go figures that collecting taxes is the forward-thinking project Bali would try and push. Anyone get the irony?

The “mobile” launch was earlier today in the parking lot of Pasar Seni Sukawati, reports Antara

Santha says the tax vehicles will be put on a fixed schedule and the location of the service will be informed in each city and region’s sub-district office.
