A 70-year-old grandmother Ni Nengah Sadra allegedly attempted to commit suicide in Tabanan, Bali on Monday afternoon, but was prevented before she could kill herself.
Sadra was discovered by her son, I Made Mertha, who reportedly found his mother with foam around her mouth and uneven breathing at 2:30 pm in the afternoon, reports Tribun Bali.
Mertha rushed his mother to the hospital, who is now in intensive care.
Tabanan Police Chief IB Putra says the alleged suicide was attempted by drinking liquid pesticides.
